Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a session? Please go to the contact section of the website OR email me at DesiraeGPhotography@live.com. In your message include what type of photos you are interested in (wedding, newborn, maternity, etc.) and any other details you can give (Wedding date, due date, ages of kids, etc.). We can then begin to discuss your session and details! There is a $50 deposit required at the time of booking to hold your session.
 
What forms of payment do you accept? Cash or Check only.
 
What should we wear? Try to avoid bright neon colors, crazy patterns & matching outfits. Light, airy colors are always appealing to photograph. Be comfortable in what you are wearing, and more importantly be yourselves and love what you have on. We want the pictures to showcase who YOU are! Let you personality shine through! Also – accessories are always a plus! Things like hats, scarves, jewelry – things we can easily take on or off to change up a photo. Find me on Pinterest! I have a board titled “Client Clothing Suggestions” just for you! I also have a detailed file to send you, once you book, to help you out ! 🙂
 
What about the location? I shoot anywhere within the Monroe, LA area, and surrounding locations. If you have a certain spot you would like to go to, just let me know! If you aren’t sure, I will make suggestions for you & we can decide from there! I am available for travel.
 
Where do newborn sessions take place? All newborn sessions are done at my in-home studio and/or outdoors if weather permits.
 
After the session, how long does it take to receive my products? Turn around time is 2-3 months for completed Weddings and sessions take around  4 weeks.

*If you are printing your own photos I recommend using an online printing company. A good company online is www.mpix.com
